St. John Fisher College

Student Government Association (SGA)

With offices on the first floor of the Campus Center,  the purpose of the Student Government Association (SGA) is to give students a means for expressing their views; to improve their cultural, social, and physical welfare; and to provide a form of government for the supervision of student activities. All full-time undergraduate students are members of the SGA and pay a mandatory student activities fee. Part-time degree students may become members of the SGA by paying this fee, which is used to support a range of activities.

Through the SGA, students at Fisher have a high degree of autonomy in conducting student affairs. Taking part in SGA activities is a valuable social and educational opportunity, so we encourage you to get involved.
